The opening minutes of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee descended into chaos, as numerous demonstrators protested his nomination and called for the members of the committee to oppose his nomination.
“Be a hero and cancel this hearing,” one woman holding a T-shirt with the words “Be a Hero” began shouting in the first few minutes of Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing.
