Former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said Wednesday that President Trump “has a problem … with the facts,” but stopped short of calling Trump a liar.
“The president says things that don’t comport with the facts. You want to call it a lie, call it a lie,” Santorum told CNN. “I don’t like calling people liars but the reality is this president has a problem, and I’ve said that over and over again.”

Santorum repeatedly avoided calling Trump a liar, but did say that Trump is subject to “hyperbole and exaggeration.”
“I wish he wouldn’t do those things, I wish he wouldn’t go out and say things that don’t comport with the facts,” Santorum said.
