Conway poses with Obama’s half-brother

Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway posted a photo with President Obama’s half-brother at the final presidential debate on Wednesday evening.

“Malik Obama and I hanging post-debate prep today. He told me why he is a Republican and voting for @realDonaldTrump,” Conway tweeted.

Obama had his arm around the pollster and both were smiling. Conway did not specify what Obama said about his reason for backing Trump.

The billionaire businessman announced on Tuesday it had invited Obama to the debate as its guest. Conway told MSNBC’s Stephanie Rhule that they invited Malik Obama to the Wednesday debate in Las Vegas because the campaign is “very inclusive” and because he wanted to be in attendance.

“Help me understand why bringing President Obama‘s half brother tonight — how does that help voters know who they want to elect as the next president of the United States,” Rhule asked Conway.

“That’s not right. He wanted to come and we’re happy to give him a ticket,” Conway said to the disbelief of the MSNBC host.
