Shoppers ‘kind of horrified’ after woman allegedly urinated on potatoes at a Walmart

Police in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania are seeking assistance from the public in locating a woman who allegedly urinated on a pile of potatoes at a Walmart store. The woman’s action, the most recent in a series of food tampering incidents that have occurred over the summer, was witnessed by an employee of the store.

Authorities were able to obtain several images of the woman taken on security cameras inside the store and posted them online in hopes that she would be turned over and investigated further.

A customer who regularly shops at the West Mifflin Walmart said she was “kind of horrified” by hearing about the incident, as she had previously purchased produce, including potatoes, from the store.

Walmart said of the incident, “This type of obscene conduct is outrageous and we immediately disposed of the affected products and sanitized the area to ensure its cleanliness and safety for our customers. We’re working with the West Mifflin Police Department to find the responsible party and have them prosecuted.”

Other instances of food tampering this year have morphed into viral videos, including a minor who licked a tub of ice cream in Texas and another individual who allegedly gargled mouthwash and placed it back on the shelf at a Walmart in California.
