Prince Harry says he and wife Meghan will have two children ‘maximum’ out of concern for planet

Prince Harry revealed he and wife Meghan Markle will have one more child at most, citing his concerns for the earth.

The Duke of Sussex, 34, told primatologist Jane Goodall in an interview published Tuesday by British Vogue that he and his 37-year-old wife would have two children at most.

Their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born in May.

Prince Harry said the birth of his first child made him view Mother Nature “differently now, without question.”

“But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children,” he said, as Goodall cut him off.

“Not too many!” she warned.

“Two, maximum,” he said.

“We are the one species on this planet that seems to think that this place belongs to us, and only us,” he added. “I always think to myself, whenever there’s another natural disaster, a huge increase in volcano eruptions or earthquakes or flooding, how many clues does nature have to give us before we actually learn, or wake ourselves up to the damage and the destruction that we’re causing?”

Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles, has been vocal about climate change, discussing the issue with President Trump during his visit to the U.K. last month.
