MSNBC has hired a new producer. This one comes directly from the Democratic party.
As Mike Allen reports in this morning’s “Playbook”:
DNC DEPARTURE LOUNGE: Anne Thompson, director of video production, was feted at the DNC with ice cream and other adult refreshments as she departs to become a segment producer MSNBC’s “Up w/ Steve Kornacki,” which debuts Saturday. Anne was responsible for dozens of DNC videos and ads during the 2012 election, including this classic, “Mitt Romney & Paul Ryan: That’s Amore,” for which she wrote the lyrics and produced.
