Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden raised $383 million in September and entered the final month of the 2020 campaign with $432 million to spend against President Trump.
Biden’s September haul pushed him past $887 million in the third quarter, making the Democratic nominee among the most prolific fundraisers in presidential campaign history. Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a series of tweets that the former vice president’s fundraising prowess was “driven by our grassroots supporters” — small, online donors who she said were responsible for $203 million of the $383 million raised last month.
