Late night comedian Jimmy Fallon said Monday that the White House’s anti-bullying campaign isn’t working so well, after he was bullied by President Trump on Twitter.
“The president of the United States went after me on Twitter,” Fallon said during his show Monday. “So Melania, if you’re watching, I don’t think your anti-bullying campaign is working.”

Trump said over the weekend in a tweet that Fallon should “be a man” after multiple reports emerged that the comedian now regrets ruffling Trump’s hair in an interview before the 2016 elections because it “humanized” the then-GOP presidential candidate.
Fallon, who has largely avoided politics in his act, said in multiple interviews after the Sept. 2016 exchange that he wishes he handled it differently.
“I did not do it to ‘normalize’ him or to say I believe in his political beliefs or any of that stuff,” Fallon told the Hollywood Reporter in an interview published last week.
The president said that Fallon called him after the show to tell him about the “monster ratings” that Trump drew.
