Hunter Biden welcomes baby boy

Joe Biden is a grandfather again.

Hunter Biden, the second son of the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee and former vice president, and his wife Melissa Cohen welcomed a “beautiful and healthy baby boy” in Los Angeles over the weekend, Cohen’s brother Garyn Cohen told the New York Post.

The child is Hunter Biden’s fifth. He married Cohen, 33, in May, six days after meeting the South African divorced filmmaker. They are renting a 2,000-square-foot home in Hollywood Hills, where Biden is pursuing an art career.

The 50-year-old has three children with his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, to whom he was married for 24 years — Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy. Hunter Biden started dating his older brother Beau’s widow, Hallie, in 2017. Beau Biden died from brain cancer in 2015.

Hunter Biden also has a daughter with Lunden Roberts, an Arkansas woman who stripped at a club in Washington, D.C., with whom he originally denied having sex. Last month, a judge ordered that he pay Roberts child support, reimburse her for the cost of their child’s health insurance, and cover some attorney’s fees.

Joe Biden has not acknowledged the recent birth, nor did he attend the couple’s wedding, though he did thank Cohen for “giving my son the courage to love again.”

President Trump’s interest in Hunter Biden’s $50,000-a-month role with an oligarch-linked energy company in Ukraine while his father was vice president sparked the impeachment investigation. The inquiry focused on whether Trump improperly leveraged military aid to pressure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into the Biden family’s dealings in the country.
