Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday that President Trump wants him to do more television interviews.
“The president is encouraging me to do more of them. I try to keep them under control,” Giuliani told NBC’s Kristen Welker.
The former New York mayor said the president believes his interviews have “organized his supporters” and that Trump is “very comfortable” with the new strategy.

The remarks contradict an Associated Press report Tuesday claiming Trump is considering barring Giuliani from giving any more television interviews.
According to the report, Trump is irritated that Giuliani’s interviews last week added fuel to the allegations that he had an extramarital affair with porn star Stormy Daniels.
Giuliani revealed in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity last week that Trump reimbursed Cohen for a $130,000 payment to Daniels.
Trump responded to the interview late last week, saying Giuliani will “get his facts straight” soon.
