ISIS claims responsibility for rockets fired at US air base in Afghanistan

The Islamic State said it was behind a rocket attack against Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

The attack occurred early Thursday and involved five rockets being fired at the U.S. base, according to NATO-led Operation Resolute Support. The mission said it would be “investigating the incident.”
