NYSE appoints first female president in 226-year history

The New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday announced the appointment of its first female president, current Chief Operating Officer Stacey Cunningham, who will start her new role on Friday.

Cunningham will be the 67th president and the first woman to serve in this role at the NYSE in the organizatin’s 226-year history, the Wall Street Journal reported.
