AOC asks Tucker Carlson: ‘You mad bro?’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., asked Fox News’ Tucker Carlson if he was mad after he called her a “moron” in regards to her co-sponsoring the Green New Deal.

“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a moron and nasty and more self-righteous than any televangelist who ever preached a sermon on cable access. She’s not impressive, she’s awful,” the conservative commentator said on his show Monday.

In response to his comments, Ocasio-Cortez asked, “You mad bro?”

During his show, Carlson also mocked the host of the town hall, Chris Hayes, as “what every man would be if feminists ever achieved absolute power in this country.”

The freshman congresswoman said she knew she was winning against Republicans because she didn’t resort to personal insults.

“You know we’re winning when the GOP resort to vapid, personal insults,” Ocasio-Cortez also tweeted in response to Carlson’s comments

Ocasio-Cortez co-sponsored the Green New Deal, a proposed massive climate and economic overhaul that aims to eliminate fossil fuels and address climate change.

Last week, no senators voted in favor of the proposal, and most Democrats voted “present,” despite publicly supporting the deal.
