Fox Business host Lou Dobbs railed against President Trump’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale for comments he made about the Trump family becoming a political “dynasty.”
Parscale made the remark over the weekend while speaking to a convention of Republican Party delegates in Indian Wells, California.
“The Trumps will be a dynasty that will last for decades, propelling the Republican Party into a new party,” he said, according to the Associated Press. “One that will adapt to changing cultures. One must continue to adapt while keeping the conservative values that we believe in.”
He declined to extrapolate on those remarks while speaking to reporters after the campaign event.
This may be one of the dumbest things a campaign manager for a populist candidate ever said: Trump family building ‘dynasty’ for decades to come #MAGA #AmericaFirst #Dobbs https://t.co/7cvDLRUlje

Dobbs, who is an avid defender of the president, took exception with Parscale’s comments on Twitter Monday morning.
“This may be one of the dumbest things a campaign manager for a populist candidate ever said: Trump family building ‘dynasty’ for decades to come,” Dobbs tweeted with a link to the AP’s story about Parscale’s comments.
Back in February of 2018, when Trump hired Parscale to lead his reelection campaign, Dobbs tweeted that Trump “just assured that he’ll have the smartest 2020 Campaign Manager.”
