Former President Donald Trump and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy will be meeting in Bedminster on Thursday afternoon.
The two Republican leaders have projected a united front since the former president left office.
“Kevin McCarthy will be meeting with me this afternoon at Trump National in Bedminster, N.J. Much to discuss!” Trump said in a statement.
Their meeting will be one day after the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot announced it will be holding its first public hearing on July 27. That first hearing marks a deadline for McCarthy to pick five Republicans to the committee.
