Jon Voight clears off seats for Gold Star families at Trump ‘Salute to America’

Actor Jon Voight was caught on video cleaning off seats meant for Gold Star families at President Trump’s “Salute to America” on the Fourth of July, last week.

The “Salute to America” featured Army tanks, flyovers, musical performances, and Trump addressed the crowd from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Mike Hahn, who’s Twitter biography says he’s a part of the Trump campaign, captured the video of Voight and captioned it, “While Hollywood Elites protested President @realDonaldTrump’s ‘Salute to America’ on July 4th… Here’s a video of John Voight cleaning the rain off seats for Gold Star families. This is what it’s all about!”

Voight, an outspoken supporter of the president, tweeted out a video advocating for supporting Trump in the days since the event.

“My fellow Americans, I stand with you and the truth of our nation with great pride and honor. I say this truly from a place of God’s truths,” Voight said in the one-minute video. “Our nation is stronger and wiser because we have taken a chance on a man who has become the greatest president. I am honored to call him President Trump.”

Trump thanked Voight in a tweet Wednesday evening.
