Former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio said he has filed election papers to try and win back his former position in Maricopa County.
Arpaio, who was pardoned by President Trump, said he submitted nearly 10,000 petition signatures on Tuesday to the Maricopa County Elections Department to be able to appear on the primary ballot. He said in August he would seek reelection.
