Protester forcibly removed from room ahead of Trump, Putin joint press conference

Security officials forcibly removed a protester from the room where President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are holding their joint press conference.

The man claimed to be a reporter for progressive magazine the Nation, according to a CNN reporter.

The protester was removed shortly before the two world leaders emerged to speak with the press following their first bilateral meeting in Helsinki.

Reports also indicate that the man protesting held a sign about a nuclear test ban treaty.
