A reporter on Wednesday broke White House rules by streaming live audio of an off-camera briefing.
Ksenija Pavlovic, a former political science teaching fellow at Yale who founded a news site called Pavlovic Today, used the Periscope app to stream audio of Wednesday’s briefing.

In the audio, deputy White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders can be heard introducing Director of Legislative Affairs Marc Short. The streaming lasted about 17 minutes, but Pavlovic later tweeted a new link of the briefing that lasted 31 minutes.
Reporters have expressed frustration over the Trump administration’s restrictions of White House briefings.
In addition to preventing outlets from publishing live audio of the briefings, the White House has not held an on-camera briefing since June 29.
No news organization had defied White House rules by airing the briefings live until Pavlovic did.
