Three candidates, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, are projected to advance in the race for Alaska’s only House seat.
Republicans Palin and Nick Begich III and Democrat Mary Peltola advanced to the November general election, the Associated Press projects. The fourth place finisher, who will also advance to the November election, has not been determined as the race is too close to call.

The winner of the November election will serve a two-year term.
The three candidates who advanced in Tuesday’s House race were also competing in a special election to serve the remainder of the late-Rep. Don Young’s term, who died in March.
