Ana Navarro: Trump has no right to question Romney’s faith because he cheated ‘with a stripper’

The View co-host Ana Navarro tore into President Trump after the commander in chief questioned Sen. Mitt Romney’s faith because of the Utah Republican’s vote to remove him from office.

“I thought yesterday was just totally off the rails,” Navarro said Friday on the ABC show. “He began with this prayer breakfast, a prayer breakfast where he questioned the authenticity of Mitt Romney’s faith. Now, listen: If you cheated on your pregnant wife with a Playboy bunny and cheated on the Playboy bunny with a stripper, you really have no leg to stand on to question Mitt Romney’s faith.”

A German model alleged that Trump once had a sexual encounter with a Playboy playmate while his then-fiancee Marla Maples was pregnant. The playmate, Barbara Moore, later backed up the claim, saying she’d had an affair with Trump in 1993. Other women, including porn star Stormy Daniels, have accused Trump of sexual misconduct and being involved in affairs. He has denied the claims.

Trump took veiled shots at Romey as well as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at Thursday’s National Prayer Breakfast in the Washington Hilton Hotel just a day after he was acquitted of both articles against him in the Senate.

“I don’t like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong,” Trump said after Romney had cited his faith in a speech he gave on the Senate about why he was voting in favor of the abuse of power charge against the president.

Trump was acquitted Wednesday from the two Ukraine-related articles of impeachment he faced. Romney became the first U.S. senator to vote in favor of removing a president from his own party.
