Rapper Kanye West appeared to concede the 2020 election while hinting at another run in the future.
West, a third-party candidate who appeared on only 12 state ballots, called it quits in an early Wednesday morning tweet after it became clear he didn’t garner much support. Still, that didn’t stop him from teasing another presidential run in four years.
“WELP,” West tweeted. “Kanye 2024.”

On Tuesday, West tweeted a video where he’s seen casting a ballot for himself in Wyoming, where he now resides. “The first vote of my life. We are here to serve. We pray for every servant leader in the world,” West said.
West’s vote count varied from state to state, garnering 0.4% of votes in Vermont, Utah, Oklahoma, and as little as 0.2% of votes in states such as Colorado, Iowa, and Louisiana.

President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden are the main candidates in the race. As of 3:33 a.m. EST Wednesday morning, neither one had secured the 270 Electoral College votes needed to declare victory.
