No longer ‘wish to be related’: Elon Musk’s child files to change name

One of Elon Musk’s children is seeking to change last names and gender identity legally.

Xavier Musk, 18, filed court documents in Santa Monica, California, in April, stating: “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”

A hearing on the petition is expected to take place Friday, according to a report.

The court petition indicates a desire to change genders from male to female legally with the new name of Vivian Jenna Wilson, taking on the last name of Elon Musk’s first wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson.

Musk has been critical concerning various transgender hot topics.

Last week, Musk slammed pop culture critics who had attacked a new Ricky Gervais stand-up comedy special on Netflix as “transphobic trash.”

“The ‘critics’ seek not to critique, but rather to virtue signal,” Musk tweeted. “They are out of touch with the people, and so lose their credibility with the people.”

Earlier this month, Musk questioned the dichotomy between messages touting gender neutrality and the push for interventions including “irreversible surgery.”

In 2020, Musk stated his support for transgender people but that “all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare.”

On Father’s Day Sunday, Musk tweeted that he loved all of his children very much.
