Sen. Ben Sasse may have sworn off Twitter, but Wednesday’s social media collaboration between Kanye West and President Trump appears to have been to good to resist a brief comeback.
He didn’t tweet, but the Nebraska Republican did quietly change his Twitter bio to read: “we are both dragon energy.”

That’s a reference to one of Kanye West’s tweets about Trump.
“You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought,” West tweeted early Wednesday afternoon.
Trump later responded to this tweet, saying, “Thank you Kanye, very cool!”
Sasse began his hiatus from Twitter at the end of last year. He did make one brief return earlier this month, however, to share a statement on Trump’s tariffs.
