NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland — President Trump mocked 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg for a shaky debate performance last week in Nevada.
“He didn’t know what hit him,” Trump said of Bloomberg during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday.
Crouching behind the podium, as if to shrink his height, Trump elicited laughter from the audience with his impression of Bloomberg. “Get me off,” Trump shouted. “Get me off of the stage!”
The crowd broke out into cheers and chants of “four more years!”
Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, took the Democratic debate stage for the first time in Las Vegas on Feb. 19 and gave a performance that was widely seen as underwhelming.
At the next debate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren attacked him for his record on women and minority issues.
Trump has attacked Bloomberg in tweets and during rallies, dubbing him “mini Mike.”
Mini Mike is getting slammed. His debates were, perhaps, the worst in presidential debating history. A total phony who disavowed “Stop & Frisk” after swearing by it for years, and even recently. He horribly overused it, & then dropped when running as a Dem. A total phony!

“I’d like to spend $300 million and get nothing for it,” Trump said earlier in his speech, a jab at Bloomberg for the exorbitant amount of money the billionaire has dropped into his campaign.
Bloomberg has the most expansive ad budget of any of the candidates seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, flooding the zone with commercials attacking Trump and promising to defeat him in the November general election.
