President Trump’s Twitter video trolling former Vice President Joe Biden and his son was taken down citing copyright issues because it featured a Nickelback song.
The parody video that Trump posted on Wednesday focuses on a 2014 photo of the Bidens golfing with Devon Archer, an executive with the same company the younger Biden worked at in Ukraine. The younger Biden’s time on the board at Burisma has faced renewed scrutiny after the revelation that Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate the Bidens.
The video cuts to the 2007 music video of Nickelback’s song Photograph, zooming in on the photo of the Bidens.
A day later the video was taken down by Twitter and was replaced with a message that reads, “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.” It’s unclear if the Canadian band was responsible for the removal.
A number of people reacted to the video being taken down.
Nickelback had Trump’s video taken down for copyright infringement.?
Trump got owned by Nickelback as the entire world laughs.
If that’s not worthy of impeachment, I don’t know what is. pic.twitter.com/Xaa80pujTM

Is there anything more pathetic than violating copyright law with a pinned Nickelback tweet pic.twitter.com/ip5jksa0aO

Yeah, when I’m on the doorstep of impeachment I *always* get Gen Z interns to post a Nickelback meme to 62 million Americans https://t.co/VV7J3vFoKD

Do we know that @Nickelback as a band filed this request or if it was done by their record or publishing company?
Don’t assume the band did this on their own and takedown requests don’t often have to be cleared by the band. pic.twitter.com/rDIGd77q4s
