Two veteran conservative lawyers worked with Giuliani on pushing Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden

Two other attorneys worked with Rudy Giuliani to find dirt on Joe Biden from Ukrainian officials.

Joe DiGenova and his wife Victoria Toensing, veteran conservative laywers, worked with Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney and the former mayor of New York City, to uncover evidence that Biden held up to $1 billion in loan guarantees from Ukraine to help his son escape a potential corruption probe, according to Fox News.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced an impeachment probe of Trump on Sept. 23 based on his dealings with Ukraine. Democrats allege that Trump withheld U.S. aid to Ukraine to force the foreign government to investigate Biden in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential campaign.

It was also reported that when Trump decided to hold up military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon, State Department, and National Security Council disagreed with the move.

An intelligence official has made a whistleblower complaint alleging that Trump made a deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Biden in return for U.S. aid. The White House released a transcript of a July 25 call between the two presidents.

The White House has not given a reason for why Trump decided to freeze aid to Ukraine and why he subsequently released it.

Reports suggest the Ukrainian president did not know Trump had frozen the aid at the time of the call. A Ukrainian official who claimed to have taken part in the July 25 phone call said “there was no such connection” between U.S. military aid and a potential investigation into Biden.

The official said that the Ukraine government believed the military aid was related to the potential sale of a Ukraine factory to the Chinese government.
