Kamala Harris on 2020 White House run: ‘I’m not ruling it out’

Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., said over the weekend that she’s not ruling out the possibility of a White House run in 2020.

“I don’t know, I don’t know,” she told MSNBC. “I’m not ruling it out.”

Harris was hesitant to say even that much, and said she’s focused on the 2018 midterm elections and “a lot of other things” other than running for president.

“Right now, I’m focused on this,” Harris said from her interview at the southern border, pointing to immigration detention centers behind her. “I’m focused on a lot of other things — that is a higher priority.”
