If you are relying on American newspapers for your news you’ll most certainly know that Michelle Obama snuggled up to the queen of England, who quite liked it, that J Crew dressed her for the occasion, that she towers over the queen and all the other G-20 first ladies, that she is the reincarnation of Jackie Kennedy (minus the clothes), that all of Europe stands in line to fawn over her. All of this, like the loveliness of her arms, has been covered ad nauseam. But there’s another fawning you’ll never, ever know anything about and that is President Obama’s grovel before Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of the House of Saud (that’s “Abdullah the Great” to Chas Freeman) “king” of oil and sand, and not much else. Until the blogosphere humiliates the MSM into reporting it, that is.
