Joe Biden hits out at Trump for golf ball retweet: ‘Enough’

Former Vice President Joe Biden slammed President Trump’s weekend retweet of a video edited to look like Trump hit Hillary Clinton with a golf ball.

“Just had the chance to see President Trump’s golf swing tweet,” Biden wrote on Twitter Monday. “Enough. This has to stop. Our children are watching.”

On Sunday, Trump retweeted the GIF in which he tees off on a drive and then a fake golf ball slams into the back of Clinton, his 2016 presidential election opponent, as she boards a plane.

The president’s post earned swift reprimands from pundits on social media, as well as lawmakers.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., called the tweet “appalling and disgusting” and said Trump should “grow up” and do his job rather than “obsessively lash out” at the former secretary of state.

Earlier, California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell tweeted, “clASSy,” highlighting the word “ass” and linking a news article about the video.
