Former DC campaign treasurer turns himself in

WASHINGTON (AP) — The campaign treasurer for a former D.C. councilmember has turned himself in to face theft and other charges.

D.C. police say 32-year-old Hakim Sutton surrendered Friday, accompanied by an attorney.
