An Arlington man was killed in a crash on Interstate 295 in Hanover County outside Richmond.
The man’s vehicle veered off I-295 into the meridian near Mechanicsville around 7 p.m. Friday, then hit an embankment and struck a tree, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Police identified the man as 31-year-old Aguilar Daniel Cabrera.
Authorities are investigating whether another car was involved in the crash and fled from the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call Virginia State Police at 804-553-3445.
