Parkland survivor David Hogg calls for boycott of Laura Ingraham’s Fox News sponsors

Parkland survivor-turned gun control advocate David Hogg called for a boycott of Fox News prime-time host Laura Ingraham’s sponsors Wednesday night after she mocked him for not getting accepted to some of his college choices.

“Soooo @IngrahamAngle what are your biggest advertisers … Asking for a friend. #BoycottIngramAdverts” Hogg tweeted, following with another tweet showing twelve Ingraham advertisers.

The call to his more than 600,000 Twitter followers to boycott advertisers on Ingraham’s show comes after the Fox News host mocked the high school senior’s four rejection letters from University of California college campuses.

“David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.)” Ingraham tweeted.

The acceptance rate for the University of California, Los Angeles, one of the schools to which Hogg applied, reported an acceptance rate of just more than 16 percent for the fall of 2017.

Hogg’s sister, Lauren, appealed to first lady Melania Trump claiming that her brother is being “cyberbullied.”

“HEY @FLOTUS MY BROTHER IS LITERALLY GETTING CYBERBULLIED BY @IngrahamAngle. ANY COMMENTS?” Lauren Hogg tweeted.

Trump made the issue of cyberbullying an issue she would be focusing on as first lady.
