Savannah, Ga., debates double-decker tour buses

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — A proposal to put double-decker tour buses on the streets of Savannah’s downtown historic district is drawing criticism.

Residents fear the buses may hit ancient oak limbs and give sightseers a peeping Tom’s view into Victorian homes. The Savannah Downtown Neighborhood Association is urging city officials to deny the request from two Boston businessmen.
