WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray will cut the ribbon on a new playground that happens to be located at an early voting site.

In addition to opening the renovated Turkey Thicket Playground in northeast Washington on Thursday, Gray plans to announce a long-term plan for improving the city’s parks and recreation facilities.
