Bush: Trump’s attack on my brother is ‘pathetic’

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is fighting back against Donald Trump’s criticism of his brother George W. Bush’s handling of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Trump took aim at the former president first in an interview published on Friday noting, “the World Trade Center came down during his time [in office].”

“He was president, OK?” Trump told Bloomberg. “Blame him, or don’t blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.”

Bush responded on Twitter Friday afternoon and called the criticism “pathetic.”
