Eric and Donald Trump Jr. made a stop in the Irish village of Doonbeg on Wednesday, where they met with Irish supporters of their father. The village is home to one of Trump’s golf resorts.
The pair went on a bar crawl and bought drinks for locals. One of the pubs they visited is owned by Hugh McNally, a cousin of Vice President Mike Pence.

“We love you guys. You guys are so important to us … You are truly some of the most incredible people in the world … and I hope we’ve made Ireland proud. I hope we’ve made you very, very proud,” Eric told the crowd.
“This is a lot better than New York City,” Trump Jr. added.

The town has large numbers of Trump supporters because one-quarter of its residents rely on jobs at Trump’s golf resort, according to CNN. Even those who do not work directly for the resort benefit from it as it draws tourism to the town.
Some of the residents wore “Make America Great Again” hats and waved American flags.
