Former Fox Business host Trish Regan finds new gig: Report

Former Fox Business Network host Trish Regan has reportedly found a new job since she parted ways with the network in March.

Regan, who had been at the network since 2015, was named as the executive editor of the magazine American Consequences, Talking Biz News reported on Friday.

Her Fox Business Network prime-time show, Trish Regan Primetime, was taken off the air so the network could provide additional coverage of the coronavirus about two weeks before she ultimately split from the network at the end of March. The move also came after she faced backlash for a monologue in which she claimed that Democrats and members of the media were using the coronavirus as a mechanism to remove President Trump from office.

“Fox Business has parted ways with Trish Regan — we thank her for her contributions to the network over the years and wish her continued success in her future endeavors,” the network said in a statement at the time. “We will continue our reduced live primetime schedule for the foreseeable future in an effort to allocate staff resources to continuous breaking news coverage on the Coronavirus crisis.”

Regan previously hosted Street Smart with Trish Regan on Bloomberg TV from 2012 to 2015 and served as a markets and documentary anchor for CNBC.
