Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch testified before the House Intelligence Committee and Americans watching at home on Friday, two days after the public testimonies of William Taylor, the top diplomat to Ukraine, and George Kent, the deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs.
Approximately 12.7 million people tuned in to watch Yovanovitch testify, according to early Nielsen Media Research. That number is just below the 13.1 million viewers who watched the first day of testimony. However, the ratings don’t account for those who streamed the hearings online.
Fox News, once again, had the largest audience among the cable news outlets, with approximately 2.7 million people. Additionally, MSNBC came in second another time. CBS News was the only other outlet to average 2 million or more viewers throughout the hearing. ABC, NBC, and CNN rounded out the rankings of the six main networks.
