President Trump tweeted Monday that former FBI director James Comey violated several laws while investigating Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
“Comey drafted the Crooked Hillary exoneration long before he talked to her (lied in Congress to Senator G), then based his decisions on her poll numbers,” Trump tweeted. “Disgruntled, he, McCabe, and the others, committed many crimes!”

Trump has attacked Comey the past few weeks for being a “liar” and a “leaker,” and claimed that he lied to Congress while under oath.
Comey participated in an interview Sunday, his first since being fired last year by Trump, where he detailed his time working on the Clinton emails case and his short time under Trump.
