Rand Paul expands Iowa caucus braintrust for 2016

Sen. Rand Paul is putting down stakes in Iowa, moving quickly to build a political organization that can help him win the important Iowa caucus in 2016.

His political action committee, RAND PAC, just announced that the Iowa Republican Party chairman will join the organization as a political advisor. It’s a big coup for Paul, who won the weekend CPAC poll and is considered the leading GOP presidential candidate.
