Members of the House Freedom Caucus will hold a news conference to rally in opposition to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and President Joe Biden’s debt ceiling agreement.

The House vote to pass the agreement is teed up for Wednesday, with a few Freedom Caucus members indicating they will not cast their vote in support of the bipartisan deal.
Over a dozen House Republican members have announced they are gearing up to block the debt bill since the legislation was released on Sunday.
