First up in the Washington Wizards’ attempt to make up for the loss of Josh Howard for the rest of the season: Mike Harris, who was signed today to a 10-day contract and is listed on the pregame roster for tonight’s game against Memphis.
The NBADL is definitely excited about the call-up.
Here’s the Harris player page from the Rio Grande Vipers. Some key numbers: 6-foot-6, 235 points, 26.3 points, 9.8 rebounds per game. He’s a 57.5 percent shooter overall, 29.2 from three. Slasher, eh?
Harris played his college ball at Rice, and his only previous NBA stints have been with Houston, including two games earlier this year.
