Loretta Lynch’s private visit with former President Bill Clinton at an Arizona airport Wednesday “didn’t matter,” according to top Senate Democrats.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and his designated successor, Sen. Charles Schumer of New York, shot down reporters who questioned whether Lynch made a mistake visiting the former president while she is overseeing a major investigation into his wife and likely Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.
