The fallout from Scott Walker’s exit from the presidential race continues in Iowa, which had been the Wisconsin governor’s stronghold. The Des Moines Register‘s Jennifer Jacobs reports that Texas senator Ted Cruz has gained the support of three of Walker’s county chairs:

Jacobs also notes that New Jersey governor Chris Christie has nabbed an important Walker supporter in Iowa as well:

THE WEEKLY STANDARD reported Monday that Florida senator Marco Rubio also picked up four notable Walker supporters in Iowa:
In addition, Brittany Gaura, an Iowa State University student who co-chaired Iowa Students for Walker, is also endorsing Rubio. “As much as I support Governor Walker, I know it is a critical time in this nation’s history. I am supporting Marco for the positive vision and strong leadership he will bring to America’s future,” she said.
