Maine residents who still need to collect payments from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program should receive benefits in two days, before the program wraps up for January.
Food stamps are issued to low-income residents in the Pine Tree State who need assistance with grocery purchases. Benefits in Maine arrive between Jan. 10 and Jan. 14, with the day that the payments are sent depending on a recipient’s date of birth.
