House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said that federal employees who take part in a planned walkout in protest of the Biden administration’s Israel policy should be fired.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Johnson responded to a story on the planned walkout, expected to take place on Tuesday, by promising to work with House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) to ensure that federal agencies initiate “appropriate disciplinary proceedings” against all participants.
