Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) likened House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) spending deal with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to something that would have been passed under former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
An additional continuing resolution passed the House on Thursday to push the laddered deadlines for appropriations bills into March. The House voted 314-108 in favor of the measure, with over 100 Republicans opting against the deal.
