Fani Willis’s old comments come back to haunt her amid allegations over prosecutor relationship

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis promised not to date people who worked under her while running for office, but she is now under scrutiny for her alleged relationship with her special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

Willis has been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with Wade, who is overseeing the racketeering case against former President Donald Trump in Georgia. She made the vow in a resurfaced appearance on the Patricia Crayton Show from April 2020, when she was a candidate for the office she now holds.
