No Time to Die Aston Martin sells for over $3.2 million at charity auction

An Aston Martin DB5 used in 2021’s No Time to Die raised over $3.2 million when it sold at auction in September, and every cent is going to charity.

The DB5 was one of eight prop versions built for the 2021 James Bond film, and it was decked out with guns and gadgets, according to a report.

It features retractable headlights, rotating license plates, and pop-out machine guns, and it even fires prop bomblets, the report noted.

The final sale price for the prop car was $3,209,773.17.

All proceeds of the sale were given to the Prince’s Trust, a charity with the goal of helping British young people, and the Prince of Wales Charitable Fund, an organization supporting veterans of the British intelligence agencies and special forces, according to the report.

Along with the headlining DB5, at least two other Aston Martins from No Time to Die were also sold.
